Based in Morningside, Auckland, Batsmen Brewing Ltd is a proudly family-owned brewery built on community, culture, and craft.

Founded in 2022 by brothers marked with the traditional tatau, Batsmen was created to share our passion for craft beer while honouring our Samoan heritage.

The Batsmen name and logo are inspired by the Samoa flying fox; a powerful cultural symbol woven through the stories and proverbs of our island nation. It represents identity, connection, and legacy - values that shape everything we do.​​

 

Fast forward to today, Batsmen Brewing has grown into more than just a brewery. We’re now proudly hosting private functions and events, bringing people together in a space built on culture and connection.

We continue to strengthen relationships with our communities, both near and far, while creating opportunities for the next generation to step up, take responsibility, and contribute to the future of the business.
